About Little Indian Lake Number One

Pulaski County, Arkansas

Little Indian Lake Number One is a small lake owned by the Indian Hills Community Club. As you might’ve imagined by the name, the lake borders Little Indian Lake Number Two. The two lakes form the centerpiece of the Indian Hills subdivision of North Little Rock, Arkansas.

The lake is 17 minutes from Baptist Health Hospital and 21 minutes from Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. There is a Walmart and Kroger within 10 minutes of the lake and there are public and private schools nearby also.

On and Around the Water

Anglers looking to toss out a line can catch catfish, bluegill, and bass. There are private docks granting access to the lake to lakeside residents.

Golfers can visit the Greens at North Hills, an affordable public golf course in Sherwood. The course is home to Joey’s Sports Bar and Grill, where players can grab a bite to eat after finishing up on the greens.

Indian Hills residents also have access to outdoor swimming and tennis.

Explore Little Rock

For a little more excitement than the suburban setting of Indian Hills, residents can travel to Little Rock, Arkansas’ capital and largest city.

Little Rock’s River Market District provides a vibrant nightlife with concerts, live theater, sports bars, and more. The district is located in downtown Little Rock.

Little Rock is also home to several breweries, wineries, and even one distillery, Rock Town, which is Arkansas’ first legal distillery since prohibition. Rock Town offers tours and tasting.

If children are in your company, you can take them to the Little Rock Zoo, which has over 500 of over 200 different species.

Performing arts fans may enjoy the Robinson Center premiers traveling Broadway shows, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra as well as performing artists and conditioners.

The Foodies Flashpacker named Little Rock “America’s Next Hottest Foodie City,” which is seemingly appropriate considering the city is home to a countless variety of southern comfort food. The Whole Hog Cafe is known for its ribs and renowned as the best barbeque in Arkansas.
